 alt.sports.soccer.everton

This is the most active Everton Newsgroup.  You may find that your regular News Server does not provide any access to this Usenet Newsgroup.   If so, messages may be accessed using http via the following link to the deja.com site

This is pretty much a free-for-all, with access open to anyone who enters the Newsgroup.  Everton fans predominate, but don't be surprised when sad lurkers from other clubs appear to try and slag us off.

WARNING:  The alt.sports.soccer.everton Newsgroup appears to be home to a cadre of tough-talking uncompromising Evertonians who are highly critical of Bill Kenwright's current regime, and use this newsgroup as an outlet for their frustrations.  This is definitely not for the weak and timid.

 THE EVERTON NEWSGROUP AT CARLINGNET

An older newsgroup is hosted on the CarlingNet Discussion Page, but this gets very few messages now.  You may have some trouble getting your NewsReader to access the CarlingNet server.  Try manually typing in the following IP Address: 194.72.7.38

The CarlingNet Everton Newsgroup is pretty much a free-for-all, with access open to anyone who enters the Newsgroup.  Everton fans predominate, but don't be surprised when sad lurkers from other clubs appear to try and slag us off.

WARNING:  The NewsGroup appears to be policed by a prudish censoring program: this translates naughty words into nice ones (eg, tosser becomes juggler!).  So its up to you to creatively structure your expletives to get your point across!

 ITS YOUR SAY AT TEAMTALK

The Everton page at the TeamTalk Website has a newsgroup of sorts in the Its Your Say section.  Very little discussion as such – this site is more about posting your views and perhaps getting a response from those loveable TeamTalk hacks.  Try telling them their incessant transfer rumours get to be just a tad boring after the umpteenth "report" comes to nothing.
