Moyes ponders Buddle move

David Moyes will take the weekend to consider whether or not to take Edson Buddle on a short-term contract until the end of the season.

The Everton manager has been running the rule over the USA international striker this week during a week-long trial but has yet to make a decision.

Buddle is currently plying his trade with Ingolstadt in Germany's second tier and would require a work permit to play in the UK if Everton decide to take him on. The 30 year-old appeared for the States in the 2010 World Cup alongside Landon Donovan and Tim Howard.
