The Blue Union have offered a substantial response to the blog post by Everton CEO, Robert Elstone, last week that sought to bring closure to the question of "where does the money go?" with an in-depth analysis of the Club's finances over the past five years.

Posted on the SOS1878.co.uk website, the BU response offers some performance analysis of its own, focusing particularly on revenue from commercial activities compared to other Premier League clubs, and from player transactions, as we as tackling the as-yet unresolved issue of the £24m "other operating costs" listed in Everton's 2010-11 accounts.
