Strategy Meeting at The Casa, 7pm
Following a successful series of planned demonstrations and meetings, The Blue Union, a consortium of like minded Everton fan groups, are now holding a strategy meeting that will allow their supporters the opportunity to express their concerns over the current plight of Everton Football Club and participate in deciding the future strategy of The Blue Union in the coming months. It's at The Casa, 29 Hope St, Liverpool. L1 9BQ. 7pm on Wednesday 25th January 2012.

There will be a live blog during the meeting — fans can pose questions to davekelly@goodisonpark.com until 18:00 today and blueunion@goodisonpark.com during the meeting, or follow along live at SOS1878.co.uk.

Invited speakers are Everton's Fan Liaison Officer, Graeme Sharp and Echo Sports Editor, John Thompson.

The Blue Union's last meeting saw 700 fans listen to a financial presentation that outlined the current situation and gave a highly accurate forecast of the next accounts which were subsequently released almost three months later.

The Blue Union's proposal is simple; they believe that the sale process of the club should be outsourced to professionals who can exhibit a successful track record in selling major sporting organisations, a quality which will enable them to identify and deliver the prospective buyer who can best demonstrate the resources, ability and a genuine desire to take the club forward on both a commercial and footballing level.
