Compassionate Leave for Drenthe

, 27 March, 5comments  |  Jump to most recent
According to The Guardian, David Moyes has stated that Royston Drenthe will not play any part in tonight's FA Cup 6th Round replay at the Stadium of Light, missing a second game in succession for what Moyes described as "a family situation. I have given him some compassionate leave."

With Seamus Coleman injured and Steven Pienaar cup-tied, that leaves the Blues short on options in the wide areas for the trip to Sunderland.
