Blue Union lost respect, says Moyes

David Moyes thinks the Blue Union fans are entitled to their opinion but that taping the meeting with Bill Kenwright broke a trust and and has lost them respect. At the end of his post-match comments to BBC Sport on Match of the Day last night, he had this to say...

"Well, I think everybody's entitled to their opinions. The people who went down to meet the Chairman can have their own opinion and I think it it was great that the Chairman met them... but I think then for somebody to release a tape of his conversation is not right.

"I think from my point of view you lose the respect of people when you do that. Their opinions might be fine but I don't think you can do that go into somebody else's trust and then let them down badly.

"So hopefully the Chairman will keep going and keep doing the right things.""
