Yobo deal finally set to go through

23/08/2011 |   Comments () :  Add your Comments
Joseph Yobo's protracted transfer to Fenerbahçe was further delayed by the kidnap drama surrounding the father of Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel, who was finally released last night 10 days after his abduction in Plateau State, central Nigeria. They share the same agent who had been immersed in the negotiations with the captors.

The move, which is expected to bring in only around £2M instead of the £6M valuation originally agreed in his loan deal, is now expected to go ahead once again.
