Treble for Everton in EPLTalk awards

, 21 May, 39comments  |  Jump to most recent
ToffeeWeb, GrandOldTeam and the Followtonians podcast completed a hat-trick for Everton as they were all named winners in EPLTalk's Best of the Premier League 2012-13 Awards.

A year after winning in the Reader's Choice category, ToffeeWeb is honoured to have been named the Editor's Choice for Best Club Blog this season by the independent voice of the English Premier League.

Our forum partner, GrandOldTeam picked up the Reader's Choice award for Best Forum, while Followtonians, the trans-Atlantic production by Ped McPartland and Eric Howell, were named Best Club Podcast. Also, Leighton Baines was named Defender of the Year.

We would like to thank the folks at EPLTalk, everyone who voted for us, and, of course, our readers without which ToffeeWeb would not exist.

Many many warm congratulations Lyndon and Michael.

You do a wonderful job to bring us all together. There are
people on these boards who sometimes seem like next door
to me, even though I'm in Chicago!

What a venue you provide for Blighty based blues and exiles
like me. Thanks.

You must get so many headaches from us but you get on with it.

I have no idea how much of your time to T-Web but it must be a
significant chunk of your lives. And it's a labour of love, nothing
else. Thanks once more.

Nice work Michael and Lyndon. A very thoroughly deserved string to your bow.

It's rare you get such a full bodied fan site where all opinions can be aired (but not always welcome). It craps all over that watered down shite that is bluekipper.

Nice job lads.

John (48) t's rare you get such a full bodied fan site where all opinions can be aired (but not always welcome)

Agree 100%.

This is one of the true blue qualities of T-W.

It's important to have a forum where some people can really drive you nuts and others make you, well, happy.

Without ToffeeWeb I would probably crack up!! It's great hearing different views of fellow Blues and being able to have a debate about all things Evertonia. Viva ToffeeWeb.

Congratulations to all of those involved in the running of the site, I hope Michael and Lyndon don't leave for a bigger site, this site would go downhill rapidly without you guys overseeing it.

Many, many congratulations Michael and Lyndon — ever thought about applying for the vacant Everton Manager's job? One more trophy than HIM of 11 — you gotta go for it. :)

Well done Guys. This site is a real pain in the arse, where I have to read numerous opinions with which I don't agree, some of which are just plain stupid because they are so far removed from my own.
Keep it going.

Congratulations guys - ToffeeWeb provides me, as a long time ExPat, with an all important link to my home town and the club I have loved and supported for over 50 years. I love the fact that we can all express our opinions freely without rancor ( well at least almost without rancor apart from a few notable exceptions )

Congratulations guys well deserved, TW is like that blues only alehouse on the web where you can come any time of the day or night, clear your chest, talk sense, talk shite, argue the toss and come back for more, long may it continue.
