Loan Blues among the goals

Everton U21 striker Hallam Hope scored a hat-trick for Bury in League Two where he is currently on loan but couldn't prevent Portsmouth from staging a dramatic fightback to claw back a 4-4 draw.

Hope's third three minutes from time had put the Shakers 4-2 up but Wes Fogden and Sonny Bradley scored in the last few minutes to earn Pompey a point.

Matthew Kennedy, meanwhile, found the net for the first time for MK Dons as they drew 2-2 at Rotherham.

Elsewhere, midfielder John Lundstram played 81 minutes for Leyton Orient as they beat Tranmere Rovers, for whom his Academy teammate, Matthew Pennington, played the full 90.

Last night, Shane Duffy's penultimate appearance on loan at Yeovil Town ended with disappointment as the Glovers' relegation from the Championship was confirmed.

Nevertheless, Duffy's loan spell was a productive one, personally, however – he turned out 36 times for the West Country side, cementing a place in their starting XI and gaining valuable first-team experience.
