2014-15 has largely been a season of frustration but Everton's form in the Europa League has shone like a beacon in the gloom.

Can their return to Continental competition reignite a fire that could power them all the way to Warsaw?

Assuming that our cup form continues throughout the competition, hopefully all the way to the final, and that the dreadful league form doesn’t sneak its way in, I feel like we have a real shot of winning this competition.

I am right in thinking this? Right...?

It could be done with a lot of good fortune perhaps but on any objective analysis we're just not strong enough, or anything like it.

I'll obviously be delighted if we do well but not at the cost of our PL security which is the only thing that truly matters.

Young Boys have won 6 out the their last 7 games scoring 15 goals and conceding 7.

The Mighty Blues have won ........ Anyway that’s an away win for me, with a good performance and no injuries.

No chance, but it would be nice if we actually put up a fight.

EFC returned nearly 3,000 tickets for this week's game – has the bubble burst or like me do we go the European away games for the drinks before? After all, that's why I chose Germany as my first away trip this term. I, like my mates, will go the next round only if we can have a good hassle-free session on the away leg.

James, I would presume that those stats are in an inferior league. While you can say that Young Boys are scoring two goals a game our defence has tightened up considerably recently.

With all due respect to BSC but they are in the Swiss league... Not to say that we should consider the game is an easy win because I doubt it will be anything but. However, the calibre of the Premier League surely shadows the form of BSC?

If trying to win the Europa League damages our league form, then winning to me is secondary.

Never want to see us lose.

So 0-0 away, 1-1 at home.

Unless it's CL stick it!!

I'm finding it very difficult to get interested. Not surprised 3,000 tickets have been returned. For the sake of the club and travelling fans, I'll be praying for a win but it won't be easy.
