Hearts developed a scheduling conflict due to Hibernian's involvement in the Petrofac Training Cup which necessitated the friendly with the Blues being moved on police advice. The friendly with Hearts has probably been pencilled in for a least a few weeks before either announcement. No one could have predicted Hibs would have drawn Rangers at home. It is a good move because a mix of Hibs, Hearts and Rangers fans (and us) on the same afternoon in a small city like Edinburgh would not be a good idea as they all hate each other with a passion.
