Tony, I just wanted to say what an excellent article! Thanks. It really captures the spirit of an age but nice to see that the partisan edge was already there. I can picture the Victorian gent with the logo banner behind, featuring top hats and beard combs, saying, "Could just as easily been three-one to us." Yeah, right Arsene(!)

A brilliant doc/drama by the BBC on YouTube 'The Golden Vision' – when a group of Blues went to Highbury back in '68, I am old enough to remember and it's so typical of the times.
