It was a really enjoyable game. There were lots of positives to be drawn from the game and the negatives were only confirmation of what we already knew i.e. Holgate isn't a right back and Robles is prone to the odd misjudgement.

I thought Jagielka was once again immense and he nursed Pennington through his shaky start. They combined really well and in my eyes they looked the best pairing we've had at centre back this season. Mirallas had his best game for ages. Davies gets better with every game. Barkley is a gem and needs to be kept at all costs as should Lukaku. We have a great midfield three, as good as most. The future is bright if not yet rosy.

Good win – I agree that we obviously need to keep Lukaku and Barkley. Please no more ToffeeWebbers responding to a loss with a knee-jerk reaction of "Get Shut"; if you set the team up for them to perform - they will.

They haven't always had such an impact in away games as the team has often been set up to defend. I think Koeman needs to re-think his tactics away from home especially now we have to go for broke.

I'm going to watch it again without having to kick every ball and have my heart in my throat.

An old fashioned game of end to end football, great to watch, until maybe we scored the fourth goal when we slowed it down a peg or two.

Some great performances with Jagielka just edgeing MotM for me from Davies, Mirallas, Gana and Schniederlin, but nobody had a poor game with a pat on the back for Pennington who recovered from a slow start to have a solid game. Let's see how he progresses before we make a firm judgement.

Thanks for another good report, Ken.

Ken, thanks yet again for your report. Great to see the Old Lady becoming such a difficult place for the away teams. It's not so long ago that we were seen as a soft touch at home.

Great also to see the manager giving so many opportunities to the younger generation. With youth you will have good days and bad days but given a fair change a lot of the current crop will make the grade.

I hope next weekend is just as enjoyable when we will try and keep the winning run going!

Have now watched the free kick by Pennington on Vardy a few times. Clear obstruction and therefore indirect free kick. The free kick went straight in and the goal should not have stood. Can't understand how the referee missed this?

It's old-fashioned obstruction, yes, agreed... but that law got dropped a long while ago, didn't it?

Looking at Law 12, the difference being whether contact was made. If contact is made, it's a direct free kick; obstruction but no contact: indirect free-kick.

Madley never has his hand raised so not an indirect free-kick. Pennington made plenty of contact with Vardy: Goal stands.

Cheers Michael. Didn't know that law had changed.
