I wonder is it just a coincidence that Man Utd and Southampton are sitting in 8th & 9th in the league with them both playing Thursday night matches whereas Liverpool and Chelsea are 3rd and 4th with no European games?

At this stage of the season, you would be expecting 5th or 6th place to be a realistic target for us, Man Utd and Spurs but of course still a long way to go. If we could sign another goalscoring midfielder in January, it would be nice.

Our defence will be well tested this weekend away to Chelsea who have scored 10 goals in their last 4 games.
