Here is a link to an Everton FC tribute film with a classical version of Z Cars. Enjoy!

Absolutely knock out video. Very emotional and very evocative.

You need to watch this!

Cheers Luke, I've sent this on to all the Blues I can think of, and even a couple of Scouse expatriate Kopites.

My mates have been in touch about this absolutely loving it. Even the Kopites.

We were all brought up in Walton in the 50s and 60s and beyond. We used to go to Goodison one weekend and Anfield the next to catch some Division 2 football! At least that's what we used to say. Saw Davy play for us one weekend and for them the next and I think he scored a couple for them. Played football on the space in Bullens Road where the portacabins are now.

Brought back great memories for them, and they live abroad now so great response from them.

Brilliant. Lost my dad this year who would wax lyrical about the Golden Vision.

People must never be allowed to forget that the game existed before the Premier League and that our club was at the forefront of everything good in the game. It still is.

So watch this video and ask your granddad about the mighty blues. It will make your heart sing.

I see that the Echo has now picked up this story.

It seems Luke, a Blue, actually put this whole thing together, arranging the music, compiling the video etc.

Listen, watch, and enjoy. Don't miss it.
