My annual post to thank Michael and Lyndon for the upkeep of the best Everton site out there.

Your efforts are greatly appreciated lads and without your hard work and dedication our lives as Evertonians would be much poorer.

Thank you as well to all the contributors who make it as entertaining as it is.

Merry Christmas, lads, and a happy New Year.

Thanks for the nudge Dave, which I shouldn't need.

Thanks Michael and Lyndon for your great site, and for giving us the chance to get rid of our frustrations and also show our joy (not often enough these last few years).

Merry Christmas and a happy healthy New Year.

Yes, thanks for what is the best Everton site in the world. It must be guys because of the international Blues contributions 24/7. Plenty from closer to home too as well a from gnarly arl scousers like me.

All the best and please a better 2017.

I'll add my thanks, Michael and Lyndon, for a superb site. You two must have the patience of a Saint to have to trawl through some of the stuff on here, and I'm as guilty as anyone for contributing my regular drivel, but it'd be a duller place without this therapeutic spa where we can right all things wrong from an Everton perspective.

Thanks, boys.

Thanks, Michael and Lyndon, for enabling Evertonians everywhere the opportunity to 'debate' all things Blue.

I think it is especially useful for those of us now in exile (Ottawa, Canada for me) to read the banter and argument which is as close as we can get to being in a pub with fellow Blues before and after games. The humour is always good, some of the vitriol is hard to take but the passion always shines through. Really enjoy the site.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to you both and to all Evertonians wherever you may be.

Thanks to Dave L, to all of you above and everybody else who frequents the site, our members and commenters. As I always say, ToffeeWeb is nothing without its audience and its community and while it's frequently a place for Blues to vent their frustrations, I'm happy that the site least provide a forum for debate and discussion.

Special thanks to our writers and contributors, notably, of course, Ken Buckley and Paul Traill for their dedication to providing match reports.

Happy Christmas and best wishes for 2017! Fingers crossed it's a good one for Everton.

Merry Xmas and well done on the production of so many fantastic articles. I love to read the thoughts of other blues in the comments section and I'm a regular visitor to the site at least 3 times a day.

I would ask users of this site to look at the fan sites of any other team. In comparison, they are second rate, un-user friendly, often cretinous and very often out of date.

We are privileged to have Michael, Lyndon, Ken, Paul and the magnificent contributors who produce the great stuff about our history.

Some great debate from people who can write, actually, really write. Who are prepared to throw away great writing on a website. I urge all ToffeeWebbers to look at what else is out there and be thankful. Now, we just need the team to produce the same.

If our team was half as good as this site, we'd never stop celebrating. Thanks for bringing Everton so close to those of us who care from a distance.

May I add my gratitude to all who run this thing and all who contribute. It is reassuring to know that other people have their weekends destroyed on a fairly regular basis, but it is marvellous when we can all celebrate together (like the Arsenal game) and the world suddenly makes sense again.

Keep it up folks and Merry Xmas to all! And let's hope for good fortune in the New Year.

Happy Christmas and New Year's greetings to the ToffeeWeb Master-craftsmen, Michael and Lyndon, but also Ken and Paul for their excellent match reports and all our essay writers.

Many thanks for keeping myself and others in the Everton community so well advised and up-to-date on what is happening with our beloved blues.

Merry Xmas and best wishes for a great New Year, Lyndon and Michael and your families (who must also have their lives affected by ToffeeWeb!). Thanks for all that you do for us. Staying up when you ought to be asleep to get something important to us (and word on the Patrick situation?!).

Best wishes too, needless to say, to the regular feature writers and especially to Ken Buckley of the deft pen.

And, lastly, Happy Xmas to all ToffeeWebbers!

For all things Everton, for all the humour and frustration, there has always been only one place to come for so many of us. This site stands head and shoulders above any other in the Premier League, and rightly so, it is a testament to Michael and Lyndon for its creation and upkeep and a platform for so many intelligent and caring contributors.

The team may continue to frustrate, the manager(s) may continue to confuse us, but ToffeeWeb will always enlighten us.

So Merry Christmas to one and all, but also to the Dynamic Duo for making sure our Christmases are filled with Blue tales.

Thank you to one and all, but especially to Michael and Lyndon!

Thanks to Lyndon and Michael for all your work through the year, and best wishes to all who frequent the home of Evertonian Group therapy.

Things will look up in 2017. By this time next year, although there will be a reduced need for therapy, there will still be a need for ToffeeWeb.

Just wish to add my thanks and agreement with all the comments. TW is absolutely the best Everton site not only for the articles and info from Lyndon and Michael but also the passionate and reasoned comments of all contributors.

Can I also include a mention for Ken Buckley and his unmissable "From my seat...". Thanks again and best wishes to all.

Warmest wishes to Lyndon, Michael and your families... to all the columnists and historians who provide the rich background and perspective for this grand club... and to the greatest fans in footy for making TW the wild, wooly, endlessly informative and brilliantly entertaining place it is.

My wish to all is that, no matter the results on the pitch, we remember to celebrate just being here and having the opportunity to cheer the Blues. Have a wonderful holiday season and may the New Year be one of joy.

Adding my thanks to Lyndon and Michael for a fantastic site and resource made possible only through their hard work and dedication to the cause.

Let's hope that 2017 will actually be the start of all that we hope for Everton becoming once again on and off the field. God knows we have waited long enough.

Many thanks, Dave, a really nice gesture, and all of you for the kind messages of support.

It's become more of a habit or addiction than a chore, and the threads with their great comments from all our contributors makes up the most dynamic part of the site. I believe we do have a great cross-section, and enjoy reading all the different takes on what should, at some basic level, be a very simple game. It isn't though, is it? Thanks to the tactically savvy, those with an eye for the structure of the team and an ability to analyse what is really going down on the field of play.

I wish for all of us that things buck up in the New Year... and Yes, I guess that means I have to buy in to the transfer window as being our salvation. Not quite sure I trust this fella to take us where we want to go within a reasonable timeframe, but of course only time will tell.

The Winter Solstice has been and gone but here's wishing a great Xmas and a fantastic New Year to all our Readers!!!

Nothing much that I can add to the rest of the great messages on here – except thanks Lyndon and Michael – your dedication is difficult to match.

Here's to a steady improvement and an eventual arrival at the Promised Land – if there was ever a bunch of loyal, patient and always passionate supporters that deserved this, it is the wonderful mix that is the Everton fanbase.

All the best to all of you – deluded, dedicated and so deserving of success.
