U18s edge Middlesbrough with late goal

Everton U18s beat Middlesbrough at Finch Farm this morning with a goal in the second half from Jack Kiersey.

After getting off to a slow start with three losses, they are unbeaten in the subsequent 5 games, having scored 22 goals, with Fraser Hornby claiming 6 of them, 4 in the last game, the 5-2 defeat of Stoke City.

Everton U18s: Renshaw; Morris, Harrington, Baningime, Lees, Feeney, Bramall (Virtanen 90), Kiersey, Lavery, Hornby, Moore (65 Ball).
Subs not used: Jones, Mampala, Kerr.

Bizarre.... U18s form is almost exactly opposite the first XI.
