We're only just moving away from Chang beer, and this is the new FourX broker? Were Castlemaine busy?

Good point, Mike Green (#3). What I am so pleased about is "users receive superior liquidity, 24-hour technical support, market research tools and the educational materials required to make an informed decision."

Been hoping for that for years.

It's all coming together, Dermot – this time next year...! :)

This time next year, I may be a rich man, methinks, Mike. With my superior liquidity, my NHS wages may morph into an ability to buy a second home in Monaco. I look forward to it!

Rather than going with a mainstream betting site, I like the class shown of going with a niche investment boutique. Working in FX and Equities myself, huge money to be made here with the fluctuations and volatility of world market currencies. Looking good for the blues getting this deal.

Any tips, Kunai? I may be able to scrape a couple of hundred together...

£'s that is – not Grand or Million.

At the end of the promotional unveiling, the cameras are packed away, notepads closed, and hands shook.

Michael Chai, Chairman of Blackwell Global Group, looks up and asks...

"So, when exactly do we get to meet Mr Moshiri and his friend Mr Usmanov?"

Not a trader, Len, and even if I knew, it would be wrong of me to advise where people put their money. As in any investment, the risk is always there.

Where I work, we see more clients coming onboard outsourcing their Foreign Exchange requirements – low costs, greater margins. CFD's and the FX markets have been growing over the years and will grow even greater in years to come. An area which is lucrative business yielding high returns can only impact Everton in a positive light.

Didn't we have a similar financial partner a couple of years ago? Turned out to be a scam.

D'ye think they know where the Arteta money is?

That Arteta money probably disappeared to pay of the BVI interest loans.

Don't worry, Kunai, many people have suggested places I can stick my money, especially women who I thought were looking for a good time.

'The club's first Forex and Brokerage Partner' makes it sound like they've copped off with a tinnied up Aussie tramp absolutely fuming about being skint.

"Users receive superior liquidity"? Talk about false advertising. It's 3.7% and tastes like a Sasquatch's ball bag shoved through a blender.

I only bought it because they ran out of Special Brew and the only thing cheaper was Chang. I've still got some standards, despite what the tsunami of stains in my trackie bottoms might suggest and...err...the fact me busking career has been struggling to take off a bit.

Still, I've recently added a cracking new number to me current repertoire of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and that one about Heighway wanking about on the wing, which should really help increase the amount of slummy being slung my way. Here we go:

Sweet Carrol 9 (duh duh duh), Your pony tail looks so good (good good good), You score all the time (duh duh duh), Just like Kenny said you would ....JOIN IN!!"

[Coppers viciously rain down upon the Val Doonicanesque, red shite, vagabonds head and body from every conceivable angle]

Dermot #7 "With my superior liquidity my NHS wages may morph into an ability to buy a second home in Monaco".

Nothing worse than a snob who already has one home in Monaco and now boasts of getting his second.

I'm open to offers of B&B, though.

Do we really care, provided they pay us some money for being advertised?

Pete (#16), I think that you may be thinking of Fortress Sports Fund. They had a small office downstairs from where I worked in Brunei, always empty. Mail piled high behind the glass door, and they were meant to be our financial saviour... righto, Billy Boy.

Worth pointing out the world of brokers (finance, investment etc) has it's own unique language and it's worth knowing what that language is and exactly what is being said.

This for instance seems fairly obvious and innocuous on the face of it...

“It is very exciting and thrilling for us to be in partnership with such a respected football club."

The translation however, though not very different, does have a slightly different meaning..

"We are evil, pure evil, there is only blackness behind our eyes. Greed aside, we have no feelings, we would suck badger's off if we thought there was cash in it.

(I imagine Elstone knows what they mean.)

Those three new players in the picture look a bit old and out of shape to me. Hope that helps.

Now all we need is Usmanov to jump off the sinking ship that is Arsenal & get on board with Moshiri... If we get that done... the possibilities are endless.

Although Moshiri is doing a fantastic job – I think he is building a stable club.

Not only focusing on the first team, but the junior teams – investors, partnerships, etc. Making the club very strong & very attractive!

But do they offer anything to those of us who have a business or work in a business that require Forex every day of the year?

There must be some Blues and TW followers who have this need. Even our SME needs this because we use German, French, Dutch and USA equipment in the production lines we create.

This link probably comes from Moshiri's side and he's clearly not a dickhead! I understand the "greed" comments and "greed" is probably my biggest pet hate. But, maybe, we need to look behind the headline. If it is greed, they must think Everton is going to be hugely successful or they wouldn't go for it.

Or am I just being too trusting???????

Blackwell must be diversifying; the partnership with Crosse must be a secondary business now. So will it could be The Blackwell Global SportPesa USM Mulligatawny Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium or "The Soup Bowl"?

I think, in simple terms, they gamble with customers' money = investment, and act as brokers for a fee if you want to gamble on commodities etc.

It's just another commercial 'partner'. Why all the fuss?
Erik Dols
38 Posted 30/06/2017 at 21:00:32
It's the tone of the article that suggests that having an Official Forex and Brokerage Partner is a must have and that the club was running light-years behind in not having one, that creates the fuss here on ToffeeWeb David. Actually the whole article and of course the comments contain some genuine gems.

I work in finance and I think I understand what is being said but the way they put it is marvellous.

My favourite?

" It's an honour to be working with a club recognised for their rich history and steadfast commitment... These are values we cherish."

That was followed by a statement that the company that cherishes history is merely 7 years old. I have a gastric ulcer older than that! Never thought of celebrating my ulcer for its steadfast commitment!

Len (#35),

Rumour has it their partnership was in a right pickle so they diversified.
