Everton U18s started their League campaign with a 2-2 draw against Stoke City at Finch Farm on Saturday.

Goals from Gordon and Adedoyin gave the Blues a 2-goal lead at the break but a red card for Stoke player in the second half gave them a false sense of security and they allowed two goals in the last 25 minutes to squander the lead and two of the three points.

Everton U18s: Hilton, Duke-McKenna, Moore, Denny [Y], Ouzounidis, Scully, Adedoyin (69' Carroll), Kerr, Simms (63' Zuk), Gordon, Mampala [Y].
Subs not Used: Murphy, Anderson, Richards.

I presume this squad of players will be the nucleus of this season's FA Youth Cupo team.

I've heard of some of these lads, don't think I have seen any, is Zuk the young lad plenty of clubs were after but we got him, and the lad we bought from Newcastle, centre back, he is eligible to play but most probably he will go straight into the U23s, is he named Morgan?

Mind you, the way Williams and Jagielka played on Saturday he could go right into the senior squad, that's pushing it a bit maybe!!!
