Steven Schumacher has done everything possible at Academy level, but is finding it hard to make that critical final step up into the Premiership.
He went on trial with Oldham Athletic in February 2004 and played in a couple of reserves games. This was followed by a one-month loan deal in March 2004, but he bizarrely never played a single senior game. getting on the bench for a couple of league games, but he remained and unused sub and never appeared for them.
He returned to Everton only for David Moyes to list him as one of ten players released at the end of the 2003-04 season. He never played for the senior Everton team.
