Two Sides

My best mate is a schizophrenic bluenose who has a split personality; his doctor calls it Jekyll & Hyde Syndrome. Both his personalities are staunch blues the more sane Jekyll type one is called Waggy (after you know who!) the other is the Hyde type character completely bitter, loves the blues, he?s called Mikael (after Madar not Arteta!) I caught him having this argument with himself in the Black Horse the other night, thought I?d share it with you lot?.

Waggy ? I heard about Davies?s latest comment about other clubs spending irresponsibly, whilst also mentioning that he, as much as us, would like to bring in more players at the right price. Good comment from Moysey, with the likes of West Ham & Tottenham going nuts we????.

Mikael ? Why does what other clubs spend on players bother him? I smell another smokescreen coming on to cover the fact we?ve got no money & we?re not bringing any more players in!! Can?t believe we?ll have a smaller squad than last year now were in Europe. WE WOULD APPRECIATE SOME HONEST COMMUNICATION?..FOR ONCE!

Waggy ? Why do some fans always take the pessimistic assumption, he actually has a good point! £17m for Darren Bent? £6m for Nugent who is unproven at premiership level? £7.5 for Bellamy???? It has an adverse affect on everyone else who hasn?t got silly money but also the clubs who spend it themselves as they will always be held to rans???

Mikael ? Who gives a toss, about adverse affects?? We are battling with Spurs to become the club to make the big 4 possibly a Top 5 an they?re spending 25/30 mil a summer average while we?re haggling over 4/5 million Koumas or waiting to see what rejects Man U don?t want to pay for the most naturally talented & physical footballer the world has ever seen!!! We are Everton not fuckin Wigan we should be competing WITH United, not taking their cast offs!!

Waggy ? you can hardly call Neville & Howard cast offs, and saying ?We?re Everton? gives us no right to be at the top, spending millions is no guarantee of succe?.

Mikael ? I hear you, but no-one wants a Leeds (buy every cunt available) but surely we could bring in one big name every summer with a couple of other buys to bolster team & squad. Like this summer I know for a fact that 90% of blues wanted Fernandes, so him along with Jagielka, possibly Koumas and??

Waggy ? stop interrupting me you big hairy bastard! We could all play championship manager and buy whoever for whatever, but it doesn?t work like that. We should trust Moyes to bring in players that are right for club at the right price & if that means biding time then so be it!

Mikael ? WHO ARE YOU CALLING HAIRY, FUCKING GORILLA BACK!!
