... along with Howard Kendall and the FA Cup!
The Blue Union held their second public meeting at Zeligs in Liverpool One on Saturday afternoon. The meeting featured a detailed financial presentation by Colin Fitzpatrick — we hope to get a web version of this up on the site soon. The second part of the meeting featured Howard Kendall reminiscing about the 1980s when he was manager through Everton's greatest period in recent history.

The following acknowledgment appeared today on Blue Union's Facebook page:

A Big Thank you to the 100s of Evertonians who turned up yesterday. Overall, yesterday's meeting was a successful one, we achieved many of our aims. Yes, we do have grave concerns regarding the coverage by the local media and yes, hopefully we can address your concerns over the coming weeks.

As we speak, we are working on a number of initiatives to move the campaign forward. We gave you a clear commitment yesterday that the lack of Interest by the Oldham Echo will be raised with them direct. As we speak, Sky Sports are broadcasting The Blue Union meeting and with the other TV companies to follow it would appear that The Blue Unions campaign is of a National interest but of very little or no interest to The Peoples Paper in Liverpool, shame on them.

We will be forwarding an electronic newsletter to all of our supporters, detailing the precarious financial circumstances facing the Club. Onwards and upwards.

And later, this summary appeared at the KEIOC website.
