Before the first derby of the season wraps up a full weekend of Premier League football on Monday, Chelsea cpntinued building a daunting margin at the top following their 11th consecutive win.

Meanwhile, at the other end, David Moyes's Sunderland secured only their 3rd win of the season over Watford, while Vardy gets a red card for a clumsy rather than vindictive sliding tackle against Stoke. The Champions came back from 2 goals down and the personnel deficit to tie the game and ensure that Stoke do not push Everton down into 9th place in the table.

So Vardy will be out for our Boxing Day game. Excellent news, he's been out of form this season but still a very dangerous player.
