Hi ToffeeWebbers,

My wife and I will be back in Liverpool for a short period of time and we wish to take in the home game against Burnley and we were wondering the best way to get tickets.

We do not want to travel all the way from Sydney Australia and miss out as we leave the day after the game.

If you can't buy tickets from the Club direct (give them a call is easier than navigating the website) there is a scalping website called Stub.com (or something like it) which will get you tickets to pretty much any Premier League game

Email the club, Kenn. Tickets are harder to come by now, so try this way first mate.

Kenn if you get no joy from the club try Stubhub. Really easy and you pick your ticket up match day at the ground. Also you are more likely to get seats without obstructed view.

Kenn - it might be worth you looking at getting forEverton membership. This gives you a 3 day head start on tickets before they go on general sale.they do one specifically for overseas fans. I've tried to include the link below but it may not work.

By way of example, for the Sunderland game on 25th Feb, tickets go on general sale at 8am this Thurs 26th jbut went on sale to forEverton members today at 8am.

Just had a look and Burnley tickets go on general sale on 16th March but to ForEverton members it is 13th March. I'd say that as long as you went on at 8am (UK time) on 13th you'd have a good chance of getting them although they will probably be obstructed view ones. Membership is £20 per person though.

Thank you for your help fellow blues, it is much appreciated.

One more thing please: it's been a long time since I have had an ale in Liverpool – which pub will give us the best matchday experience?
