I'll be in Athens tomorrow for our game against Leicester and in Paphos the following week for our game against Burnley.

Can anyone recommend some bars in both places to watch the matches?

Hi Eric,

I spend quite a lot of time in Paphos and I've yet to find an Everton Bar. but there are plenty of places to watch the match. Depending on where about in Paphos you are. Yamas is OK on Tomb of the Kings Road there are plenty of places on Bar Street by the harbor and if you're closer to Coral Bay and Peyia there is The Grande, The Stone House, The Brewery and Varissi are all decent.

Have a good time you lucky sod!

Thanks Mike, I'll be in Coral Bay so your local knowledge is appreciated.

Lived out there a few years ago mate, Emba to be precise, never found an Everton bar but bumped into an old Everton friend, good friend too, Cockney Dave. He used to travel from Bermondsey for every match, imagine my surprise when a mutual friend introduced us in a bar in Paphos!

Not really helping you out but I'd thought I'd share the story. Seems most bars will accommodate you if they can get it on, that's what I found, good people.

I believe TW resident Mr Seventhish aka Mr Walling lives in that neck of the woods. Reach out, you never know. Hopefully won't be too long before I get my arse back out there, here's to dreaming (raises glass, necks rum).

To answer my own question about Athens, there's a place called "The Sports Bar" on Veikou just behind the Acropolis Museum.

And it's next to a fish and chip shop!
