Just heard that Leon Bernicoff, the Everton fan of Gogglebox fame has sadly passed away.

My condolences go to his wife June and the family.

RIP Leon!

I loved his views on life, politics and obviously TV! But it's always good when the Blues get a random mention on a TV show – Leon always did that!

All the best to his family and friends!

My sentiments too, Stephen. I very rarely watched Google Box till my wife got me interested, and it was Leon with his Everton nuances that took my attention.

God be with you Leon. RIP!

"Berni" was my history teacher at Gateacre Comp in the early 60s .I learnt plenty of history about Everton as well. Always had time to talk about the blues.

I had the pleasure of meeting him again about 7/8 years ago at a school reunion. Still the same lovely man.

Rest in peace, Leon, Great Man, Great Evertonian
