Good news for Blues in Oz

For those of you who don't already know, if you have a tablet you can now subscribe to Optus Sport for all the Premier League games for $14.99 a month. You no longer have to be an Optus customer – you just need an Apple or Google Chrome account with $15 in credit and enough data for with your internet provider for streaming.

I have just signed up and downloaded the app and watched some highlights from last season on my iPad – it works really well.

And it's free up till 31 August.

Hi Laurie just wondering if you can record with Optus? Foxtel was great for those of us a bit past getting up at all hours to watch our beloved Toffees.

Don't need to record Gerry. All the games and highlights are available on-line next morning which is great.

The Optus App can also be downloaded onto an Xbox if you have one and watched on the big screen. Enjoy.

Gerry - you can watch the whole match the following day. Actually I think it was available until 8:30 pm on Monday night.

The other good thing is that you can watch any of the other games at no extra cost.

Optus will deduct $14.99 from your iTunes or Google account each month. You just have to make sure you have enough credit in your account.

I reckon it's great value.

Gerry and everyone else - it seems I owe you an apology.

It turns out that some games are not "on demand". This means you have to watch them live. Bad news because our opener was "not available on demand". So not available today - bummer.

The good news is ne ts weeks game is available on demand.
