no Rooney; no Symes — cost us dear tonight. Booth's 35th minute goal
for Port Vale was the killer: Reid from the right, a cross with pace, Booth
the header past a couple of defenders, not to mention the Everton keeper.
Our best bits:
Half time: Everton 0 - 1 Port Vale
