Wow, an unselfish Ronaldo! Portugal teaching Turkey here. With Spain and Germany, the outstanding teams so far.

Portugal were my pre-tournament pick. I worried a bit about that after last weeks game but this is more like it against a decent if not great Turkey team. But yeah Paul Spain and Germany certainly are the other two who have stood out by a significant margin.

Not much between the three of them to be honest Kieran, perhaps home advantage? But these teams have a small army of fans. Feel sorry for the Turks after their first game and Portugal, after all, were the first European country to trade slaves ...

The own goals are the greatest joy to be had from this tournament, Paul - let's hope they can keep coming up with new ones!

Portugal looked decent today after a poor showing last time out. Strong squad especially in midfield. Nearly all would walk into the England midfield. Although calling it a midfield is stretching it atm.

It's amazing Dennis. I think I heard someone say that there were 11 in the last Euros. Might have heard that wrong. That Turkey one is the best of the bunch so far!

I think even on paper any from Bernardo Silva, Fernandes, Vintinha, João Palhinha and arguably Rúben Neves and Matheus Nunes are stronger midfielders than any in England squad. We don't really have any midfielders of that ilk who are tactically aware, can keep the ball, create, and do the defensive work as well.

Only one red card in this tournament so far too. That seems unusual. Maybe their saving them for when they need them.

KDB keeping his gob tightly shut for the anthem, he looks a bit of a short arse there but I suppose he's next to the keeper. Keepers, on the other hand, give it loads for their anthems.

Liam @ 25. I can honestly say hand on heart that I have never seen Onana do anything “ amazing”. Quite good on rare occasions, but amazing, never.

He's a conundrum wrapped in an enigma dipped in batter and breadcrumbs and deep fried. He's obviously highly rated and I wish him well...if we can get over £45 mill then I'm sure it would be acceptable business all round. He'll never be Mark Pembridge!

Onana is a bit of a conundrum: bags of potential but not quite delivering.

Whilst I like him and think he will be a star in the future, given our current issues with PSR, he seems to be the sacrificial lamb to solve some short-term cash issues.

He has made noises about moving to a club giving Champions League opportunities so he is the one I would sell to balance the books with a big sell-on clause.

So anyone with a bet on Lukaku for most goals must feel sick now 3 ruled out.
