Reflecting the new policy to play the same football across all age levels throughout the club, the U18s are winless and sit second from bottom of the embryonic North Section league table with Leighton Baines struggling to get his young charges to compete. And true to form, the visitors took an early lead inside the first 10 minutes. The Young Blues got back into it after the hour-mark with a goal from Martin Sherif but the Ctizens got the winning goal 11 minutes before the end. Everton U18s: Lukjanciks, Thomas, O Samuels-Smith, Finney, Van Schoor, J Patterson (90+1' Foster), Apter, Bates, Beaumont-Clark, Armstrong, Sherif (66' Morgan). Subs: G Pickford, Stanley, Catesby.
