Everton U18s 8 - 0 Newcastle Utd U18s

Everton U18s wrapped up their season in the U18 Premier League with a massive home win at Finch Farm against Newcastle Utd.

Not too many surprises in the line-up, other than a new unnamed trialist goalkeeper on the bench.

Joel Catesby got Everton off to a great start, scoring inside the first 10 minutes.

Harvey Foster got the second goal and Everton were 3-0 up approaching half-time thanks to Jacob Beaumont-Clark.

Seems the trialist goalkeeper goes by the name of:

Goodness Gospel-Eze

I kid you not. Each save is a divine intervention.

Still no sign of Ebere or Sherif?

Edward,

Good question. The last U18s game they played in was at Leeds in early March. Ebere got a hat-trick but both players were subbed.

Coby Ebere was a sub for the next U21s game against Wolves in mid-March but since then, no sign of either player in the Academy line-ups.

Hopefully they're not injured!
