Season › 2024-25 › General Forum Sean Dyche given a new gig on TalkSport 21/03/2025 10 Comments [Jump to last] TalkSport are making a big deal out of the fact that they have given Sean Dyche a new gig. Sean Dyche has landed his first job since leaving Everton. The ex-Everton boss will turn TalkSport co-host on Sunday, joining friend and actor Jonny Owen from 12 until 2 pm. They will discuss a range of topics, from his time at Everton, England under Thomas Tuchel, and what Dyche really thinks about certain aspects of modern day football. "I’m chatting with my mate on the radio. Hopefully a bit of chat, a bit of banter and a couple of stories, we’ll see how we go. "I'm happy to be doing a bit for TalkSport and Jonny, who is a friend of mine and very knowledgeable on football and life in general. So I'm looking forward to that." Disclaimer () Mark Murphy 1 Posted 22/03/2025 at 10:02:13 Roughly speaking Sean Dyche will make a good radio host. Mike Gaynes 2 Posted 22/03/2025 at 15:21:16 I think he should have given those bruised pipes a year off. Paul Ferry 3 Posted 22/03/2025 at 18:49:30 There cannot be a worse voice for radio anywhere but I suppose we do not have to see him. Alan J Thompson 4 Posted 24/03/2025 at 05:20:28 Getting a job off an old friend, sounds a bit like his team selections and training crew. Mick O'Malley 5 Posted 24/03/2025 at 12:27:57 If it's anything like his press conferences, I'll be giving it a miss. Liam Mogan 6 Posted 24/03/2025 at 13:25:28 Can't wait for his curry-stained insights into how to boot the ball 70 yards as hard and aimlessly as possible. Sean O'Hanlon 7 Posted 26/03/2025 at 16:06:39 Can't believe he said, "I left Everton in good shape"!!!! Paul Kossoff 8 Posted 28/03/2025 at 15:45:12 Sean Dyche is one of those men that can't lose, even though he possesses neither a face for TV or a voice for radio.😀 Jeff Armstrong 9 Posted 28/03/2025 at 22:50:01 Sean Dyche kept this club up for two seasons running, that's it. He was the right person at the time, when we needed someone like him the most. We got lucky because anyone else available at the time would not have done the focussed job he did. He also knew when it was time to quit, which again helped us stay up for a third season. Not the best times lately for EFC but I think Dyche did a great job to get us where we are today. William Cartwright 10 Posted 08/04/2025 at 15:29:30 At least we won't be able to see him wipe his nostrils on his scalp. . . . . .
