Everton's away fixture against Aston Villa, their fourth game of the upcoming season, has been pushed back for live television broadcast on Saturday 14 September.

The game was originally due to kick off at 3 pm BST but will now start at 5:30 pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

The Echo saying, in a nod to travelling fans, there will now be at least 6 weeks advance notice of fixture changes.

But in the New Year, that slips a little, to 5 weeks.

Does this mean that none of our other early season matches have been moved? Just this one?

That would appear to be the case, Simon.

The first 3 games are still listed as Saturday 3pm kick-offs. I'm surprised the second game, away to Spurs, seemingly isn't being broadcast.

I am also surprised that only one of our first six Premier League games has been moved for TV, but I expect our Man Utd away game to be moved back one day (Saturday 30 November to Sunday 1 December), simply because I believe they are in the Europa League the previous Thursday (28 November).

If so, this could see the Wolves home game pushed back 24 hours. It's currently scheduled for Tuesday 3 December. I'll be surprised if it's not moved to Wednesday 4 December.

Obviously, I could be wrong on all this. But I do think the club should point out these possibilities on the official website to alert prospective match-goers who book days off, hotels, flights etc.
