Everton Academy 6 - 1 Muthoot

Everton Under-18 players finished the Premier League's Next Generation Cup claiming a big 6-1 win over their first opposition, Muthoot FA.

Having missed out on the final and the chance to play Stellenbosch because the young Blues lost to Punjab yesterday, they finished the tournament in the 5th-place playoff up against Muthoot Football Academy again, and this time winning convincingly. 

Goals came from Joel Catesby (2), Morgan (2), Thomas, Bates.

Everton Academy: G Pickford, Finney (Beaumont-Clark),  Gardener, Thomas (Van Schoor), O Samuels-Smith, Foster (Freedman), Bates (Matos), Akarakiri, Wren (Graham), Morgan (Stewart), Catesby (Roberts).
