The young defender is the latest of the Blues' academy players to be farmed out on loan to get more regular playing time. Having made a couple of senior appearances for Everton against Boreham Wood and Fleetwood Town, he spent part of last season on loan at Forest Green Rovers. Not sure of the quality of 2nd Tier football in Belgium but a brilliant life experience.I think more British youngsters (not just footballers) should do this sort of thing. Hopefully Reece does well, improves his game and learns from it all.
