According to L'Equipe, the Ligue 1 club are after a striker after Faris Moumbagna ruptured an ACL and faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Maupay is out of favour at Everton as he enters the final year of his contract but his French roots and Roberto de Zerbi's knowledge of him from facing him in the Premier League as manager of Brighton could make him a good fit for Marseille.
