Banega the Defiler

Comments (32)

Is this something to be worried about? Can anyone throw any light on this from The Guardian:

3) Most promising newcomer

New Everton signing Ever Banega, 21. Banega's last big public appearance: 2008 - old club Valencia admitting they felt "let down" after their pounds 12m wonderkid failed a drink-driving test, months after being censored for "defiling himself for strangers" on his webcam. Banega was punished after footage titled "Banega: always big" leaked online. Valencia directors said: "We want no more off-field shame."

Defiling himself for strangers?!?

So what im thinking is:

Howard
Neville Yobo Hangeland Baines
Banega Fellaini Pienaar Billy-Boy
Cahill
Saha

Yep - ireckon that lot would get us out the shit in no time!!!
Saving that - keep us above relegation and win the Fa and Europa!!!

I defy anyone who at 21 could leave his "old man" alone.
It’s only when you get into your late 40s that sets you to wondering where all the fun has gone.
If the lad does come (no pun intended), the terraces are going to have some fun methinks

Well, I've not seen the footage on YouTube but from reading these pages it clear that the lad has got good ball control.

In all seriousness though if we get him in, and a center back (or two) plus the back up left-back then I think we will do ok again. Maybe another final and claim "our" fifth spot again. Personally, I would like a pacy right back, but for now Neville/Hibbert and then hopefully Coleman will do us alright.

I posted this on another thread but if true doesnt look good -

---
doesn't look like Banegas coming. Valencia will take the money all day long!!

Shite translation again but you get the idea.

’The Stuttgart offers 9 million by Banega The Valencia studies the offering by the Argentine midfield player.

The future of Éver Banega in the Valencia seemed clear after so much the player as the coach Unai Emery they were declared mutual love, but the doubts after a good offering presented by the Stuttgart have appeared again to be done with the services of the Argentine midfield player.

The German assembly has offered nine million euro to the Valencia in exchange for Ever Banega. The ché paid 18 million by the Argentine two years ago, but the economic situation of the Valencian club does that itself be not seen with bad eyes this offering.

Emery and Fernando Gómez, sports director of the Valencia, they have met this Tuesday to value the situation and the technician has repeated its intention to include the player. In the next days the ché will give an offering to the Stuttgart.’

Fucking pissed about this, big time - like Jason said, this is the player we really wanted in our side!!! Mike Davies

I’ve had a quick scan through the thread, and beyond the ’argie is a wanker’ stuff, has anyone wondered why this potentially £20m player is going for next to sod all? (If you will excuse the expression).

The guardians of Valencia are telling their technico that this man is no longer available for selection - he is being shipped out, full stop. I thought there was something very odd about statements to the press. This might explain it.

If we benefit, all well and good.

Yup Mike - looks like the Valencia ’board’ want rid at any price. €9mill loss, but Spanish ’orgulla’ (pride) might see that as a very small price to pay.

Let’s hope the whole thing is bollocks and we simply get a good mediocampista this week.

Having read their fan forums, it appears that they have no midfield due to injury and whatnot, and not that they don't want to loan him (or for that matter sell him to stuttgart)

Oh, and if anyone thinks ToffeeWeb is a haven of negativity, they should learn Spanish and read the above, though I suppose being half a billion euros in debt will do that to you.

As the conclusion of the Banega loan deal appears to be less and less likely, it has been suggested on this site that David Moyes pursues our own prodlgal son, Manuel Fernandes. Much as many of us would welcome the "third coming" of the talented Portuguese, events have conspired to make this eventuality highly improbable.

The fact is that the player has suffered a setback in his recuperation from his fractured fibula, as a result of which he has only played in one pre-season game and will be out of action for about 4 more weeks.

Ach, there’s no way Neville will play in defence long term. Expect Banega (should he even exist let alone sign for us), to do a Castillo.
