As a left back, yes, he's more of the traditional type. I, like a few others, think he could be effective as the left central defender in a back 3. Although not exactly they same, he sort of reminds me of Hibbert. I'm not sure if many would agree, but I often thought he could have played centre back. I think he did a few times.
FA Cup related. For once, BBC Breakfast had me smiling with their report on Grimsby's trip to Southampton this evening.
A simple chant but quality; "sing when we're fishing, we only sing when we're fishing" waving inflatable Harry the haddock's in the air!!
Good luck to them this evening. That's a long trip.

Not a great reward for Grimsby, yet another long journey to the South Coast to face Brighton in the Quarters.

And Antonee Robinson. What a shame we let him go from what I've seen of him to date.
Fulham were not afraid of the ball and comfortable on it. For those who lament sideways and backwards passing (Robinson done it often), they kind of reminded me of City in a way.
Not afraid to be patient and keep possession. But when they did go forward and waited for the moment, they done it with purpose and intent. That's the difference between retaining possession for the sake of it.
