Leeds and Leicester playing tonight. So the pressure will be on Thursday's game one way or another after it.

Jerome, I'm thinking a draw is the best result here, or failing that a Leicester win. From the games I have watched recently, Leeds look the more vulnerable and likely to capitulate, their defence is very dodgy.

I don't know what sort of result I want from the Leeds v Leicester game.

Yep, Emery is good manager, didn't get a fair crack of the whip at Arsenal, but they were battling relegation the season they came back up and have built on from there. The seasons leading up to them going down had all the hallmarks of what we currently are. Gambling massively, backfiring and selling of your assets season upon season. They got found it in the end. Sam took over West Brom when they were in 19th in mid-December. He couldn't save them and it burst his bubble as unrelegatable.

Funnily enough, West Brom made a mess of January and couldn't get any transfers over the line so, in that respect, he was in a similar scenario to Sean.

We're relying on a TV pundit to get us an equaliser against Man City, well I suppose we are in very desperate situation. We do have to beat either Newcastle or Leicester to give ourselves a fighting chance; we need a victory somewhere, somehow and the sooner the better.

Martin, we have a decent chance now with some better players back, it will also give one or two better options from the bench which could be important too to change a game. I am waiting on news of Seamus as him being back will be a major plus at right-back.

Initially Stones looks offside but the VAR gives him onside. Thing is, the VAR line is drawn from a camera angle on the goalline which shows he's onside by gnat's hair.

If the VAR line would have been taken from a camera in line with Stones, I doubt it would have been given.

My opinion and I note it's shared by a few others. Iain has just commented on our loss v Fulham as being costly. Take your spite elsewhere.

It's not the Fulham result in isolation – it's the losses to Southampton and Leicester at home and the draw with Forest at home too.

The time for saying "We'll take a point from matches" is over – nothing less than 3 points is needed now from every game (barring Man City, of course).

I agree with Ian Edwards on the Palace game in so far as having dropped so many points – you need to pick up unexpected wins to offset that.

I think it's pretty fair to say these next two games will decide more or less whether we stay up or are relegated.

Only 1 point from these two, then it's over, in my opinion.

Football is life, and life is all about taking care of yourself. I'm going to Goodison tomorrow with the same feelings that I've had since the Crystal Palace game finished. We have got to go and win, so if Everton lose, then I'm certain they will be slaughtered.

Some people want to start criticizing our team just because other teams are fighting for their lives, which is exactly what they should be doing!

Football is hard enough, especially when you're struggling, so if people don't want to try and get behind the team whilst they've still got a massive chance of getting out of this horrible relegation battle, I don't understand why they even follow us.

On 31 April 2022, Everton were in the Bottom 3 and 5 points from safety. On 1 May, Everton beat the European Champions and started clawing themselves back towards safety. It wasn't pretty… but it was raw, it was passionate, and this is how we must approach tomorrow night.

I'm looking forward to it, although I'm hoping posters on ToffeeWeb are negative before the game, because we always seem to do better when they're negative rather than positive. We will see…

I'm extremely concerned about the future of Everton Football Club. This could be the end, it's that serious. I agree with you. I can't remember the last time we've gone away from home and tried to win a match. Personally, I've stopped looking at away fixtures thinking we can win any of them because we never do.

It's always been about just not losing, has been for over 20 years... the attitude of a draw away from home is good enough.

The dialogue is always about managing expectation, about stopping the opposition from playing because it is they who are so strong.

I have to get my head around the state the club is in under Kenwright and Moshiri and the annual lack of drive and motivation from the players at home instilled into them from the boardroom. I'd be in a strait-jacket if I expended the same level of emotion on the away games too.

I don't honestly know how our superb 3,000 - 5,000 travelling fans manage it. I'd need to double the dose of my heart meds, Kenwright & Co should be kneeling at their feet.

A friend of mine said to me today, no matter what happens to us this season and next season, Sean Dyche will not lead Everton into our new stadium – I think he's right.

If I supported a rival club, I would point all my fellow fans to many of the threads on TW in recent weeks, as it would give them hope that we have all given up.

If I was a complete realist, I would have given football a swerve; however, I am realistic but refuse to give up just yet.

I never once said that other people couldn't have an opinion, I was merely highlighting how disheartening it is to be constantly told what most of us already know, that we aren't very good. Fans of Forest were apparently up for it tonight, and I don't know whether their players responded to that or whether it was the other way around,

Many thought we were dead and buried before the turn of the year, yet here we are with an opportunity to leapfrog a few sides and then another opportunity on Monday to gain some momentum. We may not win either game or indeed another game this season, but we don't actually know yet and I just find it unproductive to keep saying it's all but over.

Shame on Brighton for losing after scoring first but they did have a tough game against Man Utd. However, we are now almost rock bottom and, with Barcodes on tap tomorrow and the Foxes away at the weekend, we could never have been in a more direr situation for points.

However, with maybe a few guys back, Dyche might be able to get something extra from them (as if they couldn't do it themselves).

We just need an early goal and some stalwart defending as I am sure the Barcodes will be all out to get into the Champion's League and it will be a nervy game once again but let's hope it's a hell of a lot better than the Fulham game.

We do desperately need to find a route to goal. Calvert-Lewin gives us some hope (that's if he plays – when does he ever play consecutive games?) but there's more to it than pumping it long and hoping.

Our striker woes have clouded the issue that we're not trying to solve that problem in our way of playing. We're the lowest scorers in the Premier League and that's been the case for a long time – including when we appointed a new manager and came up with a guy who could make us 'hard to break down' when our defensive record was half decent!

Dyche has brought a bit of fight. What we needed was a bit of an attacking plan. I hope to God that a bit of fight ends up being enough. We are incredibly fortunate that the bottom end of the table is so poor that a points tally in the mid-30s will probably be enough.

It's only a low bar that gives us a chance. We really should be gone.

The bottom line is that the majority of supporters are up for it with a positive attitude.

The major problem is the 11 players on the pitch; we expect them to become in tune with the supporters and up their game. They have let us down before and it has now become a time that we can't be let down, as there is very little time remaining if we do not get a positive result.

We have had too many must-win games that the players have not turned up to. The fans will have done their part; it will be up to the players to do theirs.
