Away from the World Cup, it's the 2nd Round of the FA Cup, with Fleetwood away at Ebbsfleet.

Everton's on-loan youngster, Lewis Warrington was part of Fleetwood's 4-man midfield and did a brilliant job to force a turnover on the halfway line to feed Garner who went on to score the only goal of the game.

Fleetwood on the telly, so a chance to watch Warrington playing in the FA Cup

Yes, Tony, he’s getting some good game time – 17 games so far this season in all competitions, holding his own physically. I think it’s a good stepping stone for him.

Watched the last 20 minutes of the first half. Ebbsfleet seem to have the upper hand

It’s all a bit scrappy, Warrington neat and tidy, trying make things tick for Fleetwood. I like the way he is always trying to find space and make himself available for the pass. Onana on BBC playing the same role, just been booked for an elbow to the ear hole.

Good pressing from Fleetwood and a nice finish.

An assist. Warrington wins the ball in midfield, feeds Garner a simple ball who runs in on goal and scores with a quality shot into the corner.

Excellent work from Warrington, harassing the opposition to force the turnover and feed Garner. Good finish.

Can we recall him and get him involved around the first-team squad?

I'm generally cautious about young players, but I like what I see from young Lewis.
