Premier League? No
Top 4? No
Top 6? No
Top 8? 8th extremely unlikely!!!
FA Cup? No
League Cup (or whatever guise it goes under these days)? No
Relegation? No
Top 10, possible!
DCL? unlikely to attract any suitors due to ongoing injury problems. We are stuck with him!
No Chelsea deals until after Saturday.
BK to walk/resign? No chance!!!
Another season of mediocrity?
I sincerely hope I'm wrong. I'll be the first to put my hand up that I got it wrong!

My Predictions for the coming season:

1. Lampard leads the team to 8th place
2. Gomes, Keane, and Holgate are sold either in this window or January.
3. Calvert-Lewin comes back for 8 matches, scores 6 goals before further injury keeps him out for the rest of the season.
4. Salomom Rondon actually does a half-decent job and finishes the season with 9 goals.
5. We finish above Newcastle, Villa and just below Nottingham Forest who surprise everyone.
6. Arsenal 6th, Chelsea 5th, Man Utd 4th, Liverpool 3rd, Spurs 2nd, Man City 1st.
7. Cups... we get to FA Cup Final against Leicester... we win.
8. League Cup, we get knocked out by Arsenal.
9. Bill Kenwright steps down and falls over the cat.
10. Moshiri writes another letter...

Christine,

Don't give up on the lottery, girl, I had hardlines last Saturday, only four numbers away from hitting the jackpot, so I won a lucky dip!!

I thought I was being realistic until I re read them again! Apart from no 7 which was more hope than belief..the rest I just think might not be far off.
Stop laughing at the back!

Dave no word of a lie, first time ever I bought a lotto ticket with 8 lines on here. I did not get a single number.. what's the odds of that!

More so than ever before i'm finding it hard to predict where Everton might finish this season.

I honestly think it could be anywhere from 7th to 19th!!

Much may depend on which transfer we can get over the line but i'll be surprised if we don't finish the window with at least 3 more new player. Potentially Gueye, Onana and a striker (Broja on loan?). A lot will also depend on whether the likes of Gordon, Gray and Alli can step up and score goals more consistently than they have managed before (or in a long time for Alli).

I like Lampard a lot and he says many good things and seemingly has a good connection with the fans, but i'm yet to be convinced of his tactical acumen and his plan for how we will play. I hope he proves me wrong.

If I had to bet it may be on a slow start to the season with some key players missing and the new system not yet bedded in. Young and new players may take some time but hopefully as the season goes on we will get better and my money is on us finishing around 13/14/15 but feeling better about 2023/2024 season. Either that or Lampard will be booted around Christmas!!!

Not a bad prediction Christine, only it's 7th and you forgot the League Cup at Wembley.

Christine (6), you just need a bit of adjustment, you are doing the wrong lottery, try the Euro one!!
