Everton U21s 1 - 2 West Ham Utd U21s

Everton U21s lost at home to West Ham Utd in Southport this evening.

Mills, Price, and Cannon were back with the team after brief flirtations with the senior squad, while Einar Iversen made his first appearance as a late sub after missing out on nearly 2 years of his development programme in the Everton academy following a serious ACL injury back in March 2021.

Second-half sub, Owen Barker stepped up to this level for his first PL2 appearance after playing in a number of cup games for the U21s this season.

Tom Cannon scored with well-executed free-kick after the visitors had scored in each half.
