Brighton & Hove Albion U21s 1 - 2 Everton U21s

An 83rd-minute goal from substitute Mackenzie Hunt gave Everton Under-21s a 2-1 Premier League 2 victory at Brighton & Hove Albion this afternoon.

Brighton took the lead in the 10th minute when the ball eluded keeper Zan-Luk Leban and nestled in the corner of the net.

But Leban made a number of great saves to keep Brighton at bay until Everton equalised when Kouyate swept the ball into the penalty area from the left and Kyle John at the far post headed home.

In the final stages,  Kyle John won possession on the Everton right and, when the ball was worked infield, Hunt slammed it past the keeper for a precious winner.
