Everton U21s 1 - 1 Fulham U21s

Everton U21s drew at home to Fulham when they took on the Londoners in Premier League 2 this evening, Southport.

This game saw the Young Blues back on home ground after two very good away wins on the South Coast at Southampton and Brighton last week.

Katia Kouyate struck early on, giving the Blues the lead after just 4 minutes. But Fulham came back to equalize after 19 minutes. 

There were no more goals, the second half being a stalemate against equally matched sides

Everton U21s:  Leban, John [Y:81'], Hunt, Welch, Campbell, I Samuels-Smith. Apter, Bates (46' Iversen), Okoronkwo, Barker (61' Higgins), Kouyate.

Subs: Barrett, Mallon, Heath.

Who is managing the game if Tait is with the first team? Or is he double dipping?

Kieran, it's Keith Southern, Tait's assistant. He got them set up well and looking very disciplined.

1-1 final score, a decent performance from a young team but a fair result.
