Blackburn Rovers U18s 1 - 2 Everton U18s

Everton U18s scored a late winner to beat Blackburn Rovers today at their training ground in Brockhall.

This is Everton's 14th game of their first U18 Premier League (North) campaign under the guidance of former star Leighton Baines, where they sit firmly mid-table while their hosts today start at the bottom.

The home side took the lead after just 5 minutes, but Isaac Heath got on the scoresheet for the visiting Blues a few minutes before the break. 

And with 10 minutes left, substitute Troy Smikle-James was on target to give the Blues an important lead. And that's how it stayed by the end.

Everton U18s: Hanbury, Butler (51' Wright), Wilson, O Samuels-Smith, Dixon/Quintyne (69' Maher), Bates, Metcalfe (73' Smikle-James), Beaumont-Clark, Heath (72' Cahill), Apter, Sherif.

Subs not Used: Jensen.
