I had a seat in Upper Bullens for 6 years and grew to love the Old Lady, great memories abound, including the Boys Pen, Rooney's debut, European games, but as in all things, changes happen.

I am 60 years a blue and hope to see them play again in their new home. I wish that a new owner comes in soon and picks up the reins with a new vision to match the new stadium.

Wonder what the average US sports fan thinks of the idea of relegation – particularly after a benefactor's ⅔ billion dollar cash injection?

Since this article, we've lost at home to a team we had looked at as beatable after their run of 5 defeats. One game fewer to avoid the unthinkable.

Next season, Goodison will be packed full every game, regardless of which league we play. Let's hope it is goodbye to the ground only and not the club!

Agreed, Goodison will be packed next year, whatever division we are in. If the worst happens, every home game in the Championship will be a cup final, every visiting team will view us as the big team to “giant kill”.
Away trips should be entertaining too.
