Brent Stephens 2 Posted 05/12/2023 at 20:14:58 Burnley a goal down. Soren Moyer 3 Posted 05/12/2023 at 20:41:23 Arse a goal up.Spoke too soon. 1-1!!!! Barry Hesketh 4 Posted 05/12/2023 at 20:41:54 No they're not, Luton have just equalised. FFS Ian Bennett 5 Posted 05/12/2023 at 20:43:58 Watching Ross barkley, you just sigh and say what a waste of a career the lads had. Barry Hesketh 6 Posted 05/12/2023 at 20:49:22 It's proper annoying watching this Luton v Arsenal game, in the end Arsenal might end up winning, but there's little doubt that Luton aren't showing them the same amount of respect that Everton showed at Goodison against the Gunners. Soren Moyer 7 Posted 05/12/2023 at 20:58:36 We had a gutless performance at GP against them tbh. We could win that game with a little effort, instead of parking the bus. James Marshall 8 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:03:20 2-1 Arsenal - surely they won't let Luton back into this now Paul Hewitt 9 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:03:53 2-1 Arsenal Dave Abrahams 10 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:13:03 Ian (5), I agree to an extent but is he finally showing signs of maturity, he hasn't played great, tonight, but he has kept the ball well and he is having a decent game. Ian Bennett 11 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:15:17 I thought he's been excellent for them. I really do. Ian Bennett 12 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:18:52 Leicester City have agreed to pay the Football League £3.1m to settle the league's long-running claim that the club breached financial fair play rules when they made a £21m loss in their 2013-14 season. Leicester won promotion from the Championship that season after their owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who owns Thailand's duty-free company King Power, had invested more than £100m since his 2010 takeover, and subsequently they won their unlikely Premier League title in 2016.Question - how does one over spend of £19.5m cost 10 points and the world and his do ready to sue. And another £21m spend cost a £3.3m.Asking for a friend James Marshall 13 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:27:41 2-2 FFS Barry Hesketh 14 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:29:07 Arteta! Coach your bloody team to defend set-pieces. FFSHee Chan score the winner on home soil, but Everton signed Noah Hee Kant. Brent Stephens 15 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:34:18 Luton winning! Brent Stephens 16 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:35:03 Ross goal. Barry Hesketh 17 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:35:35 Another massive kick in the nuts for us, determination by Townsend and a fucking goal from Barkley. Brent Stephens 18 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:36:58 3-3 Jon Bentley 19 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:37:04 3-3 Kieran Kinsella 20 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:37:18 Looks as if we will have to win all of our remaining games. Bill Gall 21 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:38:25 Calm down, it's only early and Arsenal need the points. Barry Hesketh 22 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:38:43 This is where this 10-point deduction being imposed immediately is hurting us. You've got Wilder returning to Sheffield which may lift their team and its results, you've got the Mad Hatters with renewed hope and the points on the board has skewed the whole table.TFFT Arsenal equalise. Brian Williams 23 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:38:47 Bit of a stretch that, Kieran. Steve Dowdeswell 24 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:41:46 What is going on with Luton? Just give it up and admit defeat will you! Kieran Kinsella 25 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:43:46 Brian,I didn't say what winning all the games would help us achieve. Kieran Kinsella 26 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:48:53 Luton will bring on a double substitution of Gbamin and Rondon now and score a couple of late ones. Or Arsenal will get two late goals win 5-3 and utterly crush their confidence causing them to go on a winless run of 30 games.Could go either way. James Marshall 27 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:49:06 That is shocking goalkeeping from Raya for Barkley's goal. Proper stinker. Brian Williams 29 Posted 05/12/2023 at 21:49:38 Well don't keep us waiting! 🤣 Jerome Shields 31 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:03:48 Watching Luton against Arsenal, Luton looked more Arsenal than Arsenal did. Barkley played well. Svein-Roger Jensen 32 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:11:33 An inquiry into the unacceptable conduct by Erling Haaland in the 3-3 draw with Tottenham Hotspur has been held. Following remonstrations with referee Simon Hooper, the Manchester City player subsequently tweeted 'Wtf' in response to a video of the passage of play. The FA take such actions extremely seriously and have therefore decided to dock Everton 5 points. Danny Baily 33 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:13:59 Get in! Brent Stephens 34 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:14:08 Arsenal late goal! Bill Gall 35 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:14:25 And Arsenal grab the winner! James Marshall 36 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:15:02 4-3!! Get in! Dale Self 37 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:15:26 Fuck yesssss! I will continue to have interest in Arsenal Tony Everan 38 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:15:44 Ripped the heart out of Luton that goal. 3-4. John Atkins 39 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:16:30 You can also hear the groans from the RS. Good results tonight.Sheff Utd draw tomorrow will do. Danny O’Neill 40 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:19:00 Just beat Newcastle.Fight the appeal. Take care of ourselves. Tony Everan 41 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:19:13 Out of the Relegation places on Thursday with a win, a bit of extra motivation. Soren Moyer 42 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:21:08 Phenomenal is on Prime. Barry Hesketh 43 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:21:54 That's it Danny, we have to take care of ourselves first and foremost, however, Luton and Burnley losing is a great incentive to try to win on Thursday. Rice's goal was massive for Arsenal also, a draw tonight and everybody is questioning their title credentials, a win keeps momentum going for Arteta's side. To me, they don't look to me like a title winning team, although getting all 3 points when you're not at your best is a good trait to have. Neil Tyrrell 44 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:22:01 Always liked that Declan Rice 😎Svein-Roger 32, that is very funny, well played James Marshall 45 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:23:56 Newcastle have only been outscored by Man City (by four), Villa and Arsenal (by one goal respectively) and have the joint best defence in the league – and we're shit at home. Sentimentality aside, it's difficult to see us beating them on Thursday. Soren Moyer 46 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:31:48 They lost at Bournemouth 0-2 last month so they are beatable. Darryl Ritchie 47 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:38:06 Good teams play terribly and still win... kinda like we did on Sunday. Mike Doyle 48 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:39:30 Neil 44, I don't think Svein-Roger is joking. I could see it happening. Also I wonder if it's too late for Everton to sue the FA over Clive Thomas's decision to pretend he had seen an infringement to justify disallowing our winner against Liverpool in the 1977 semi-final? Jamie Sweet 49 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:39:56 Barkley scoring from a Townsend assist to take the lead was the most Everton thing that could have possibly happened to Everton in that game! Thankfully the Gooners got the job done in the end.Surely we can pick up 2 more points than Luton Town and stay ahead of Burnley and Sheffield Utd over the course of 24 games? Would we even deserve to stay in the Premier League if we can't? Barry Hesketh 50 Posted 05/12/2023 at 22:40:56 James @45We just have to beat them, no matter how good or bad they or we may be. We can't afford to keep dropping points or more importantly losing at home. Chelsea on Sunday will be a test too, as will Manchester City, Aston Villa and Tottenham in our upcoming Goodison fixtures. Sake that's a hell of a home league fixture schedule going into February. I wouldn't be averse to getting a point from each of those fixtures, so long as we can win a few more away from home to keep the points total rolling. If we hadn't have had the ten points taken off us, we would be looking for another seven wins from the remaining 24 games to get to 38, if the ten point deduction stays, we'll need ten wins and a draw or equivalent to get to 38. Colin Glassar 51 Posted 05/12/2023 at 23:04:12 Barry, this is shaping up to be a very Ancellotti-esque season ie great away, shite at home. We beat Newcastle not too long ago when wotsisname scored a very late winner. Barry Hesketh 52 Posted 05/12/2023 at 23:10:04 Colin @51, Let's hope that is the case re: Ancelotti's eleven away wins I think it was, we only lost four on the road that season. That was St Patrick's Day when whatsisname scored that late late winner. Dale Self 53 Posted 06/12/2023 at 19:21:13 Wow. Wilder is back at Blades. Fulham have Paulinha back and could pile pressure on Cooper at Forest. Steve was at his most unhandsome look yet this season in the pre-game interview. Paul Ferry 54 Posted 06/12/2023 at 19:44:17 If I was a woman, I'd do Steve Cooper. NOT and Brian I don't want to be a woman, I was only joking mate, honest Brian Williams 55 Posted 06/12/2023 at 19:48:14 Your post at 54, Paul, says a lot more than you probably intended. 🬠Paul Ferry 56 Posted 06/12/2023 at 19:50:46 Brian, thanks mate, the edit button is still there Paul Ferry 57 Posted 06/12/2023 at 19:56:51 Shite, Bournemouth 1-0 up at Selhust dump. Dale Self 58 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:02:41 Iwobinho! Fulham 1-0. After a bad first touch, Willian passes diagonally into the box for a one touch. Dale Self 59 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:06:09 And Raul blasts 2-0. Iwobi finds Periera who slots in to Rauuuuul. Paul Ferry 60 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:06:33 Iwobi 2-0. Could do with a draw there. Paul Hewitt 61 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:08:29 Bournemouth seemed to have turned a corner at the moment. Playing well Brent Stephens 63 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:09:05 Sheffield losing. But VAR on the case. Brent Stephens 64 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:09:42 Goal stands. Dale Self 65 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:11:54 No Eze for Palace. Ray Roche 66 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:12:23 There's a woman commenting on my LFC stream, apparently Virgil Von Dake just scored. I wish she'd f*** off and let someone else talk the rubbish Paul Ferry 67 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:32:03 Your 'LFC stream' Ray mate? Tony Everan 68 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:33:35 Paul, only another two corners to turn and they'll be back where they started from. Brian Williams 69 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:33:40 Just saw your edit Paul. 🤣 Ray Roche 70 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:37:12 Yes Paul, on my digi box, I can watch just about every game so I watched some of their game. Watching Villa v City during halftime, the RS and Sheffield has a greater impact on our season. Mike Doyle 71 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:47:51 Ray. Out of interest, what type of Digi box is it - and where can I get one? Dale Self 72 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:50:28 Rauuuul with a nice goal beating two defenders, touching past the keeper and backheeling his second. 3-0. It could get ugly. Paul Ferry 73 Posted 06/12/2023 at 20:53:28 Taxi for ugly Dale? Ray Roche 74 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:03:07 Mike @71,It's an Infomir MAG322w1 box. I have had it for several years so it's probably obsolete or updated now but I pay a subscription every year for it. Have a look on Google, you can find them there. Dale Self 75 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:03:26 With Wilder at Blades it might be tempting for the whale to ship him out. The way Forest have played at 2-0, that may be a deep problem. Who can come in to find some chemistry then? I'd stay ugly but I doubt the whale will. 4-0. What is the dispatcher's number? Mike Doyle 76 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:08:26 Thanks, Ray. I'll look it up. These things work okay in the UK, I assume? Ricky Oak 77 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:08:41 Or recently purchased from tiktok shop, tx super 8k digi box, vg, commentators are often foreign, as another bonus. Utft!! Joe McMahon 78 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:09:16 Iwobi again. I hope these midfielders doing well don't come back to haunt us. Tom Davies the obvious exception. Tony Everan 79 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:09:24 Brace for Iwobi Fulham 4-0 Forest. Forest will be signing another 49 players in January trying to make sure they stay up.Changing room there must be like the Louvre. Dale Self 80 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:11:43 I think I saw Bobby Brown Shoes at Craven Cottage having a look. Ricky Oak 81 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:12:29 Four months been great so far, unbelievably, every game worldwide. Chinese I think, 30 sovz it cost, so expect to be monitored, nothing new there though.. Ray Roche 82 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:15:23 Mike, yes, I'm in Wales so I suppose that they do.😠Simon Dalzell 83 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:16:53 Decent Watch Manure. Commentator showing his age, '' Cole causing a Commotion ''. I remember buying Lost weekend and Brand new friend in the mid eighties. Quality.. Dale Self 84 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:16:54 And yessss 5-0. Joe McMahon 85 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:19:13 Simon, Lost weekend was fab, liked Perfect Skin too. Simon Dalzell 86 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:20:05 Spot on Joe. Jeff Armstrong 87 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:22:53 “Premier League Corrupt as Fuck†sing the Sheffield United fans, go ‘ead lads. Dale Self 88 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:24:48 Not bad overall, Bournemouth win but Palace and Forest look like they will be surpassed. Paul Ferry 89 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:32:57 Rattlesnakes was a perfect album and perfect for the times. Still putting out good stuff is our LLoyd, he's been living in Massachusetts for 25 years now. Paul Ferry 90 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:49:42 Wow, what a run that was for his goal but poxy deflection. Take that Pep yer smack-head, said you'd stick with 'em in Division 1 but what about the Conference League yer smack-head. Brian Williams 91 Posted 06/12/2023 at 21:56:06 Has the Man City bubble burst? 🤔 Paul Ferry 92 Posted 06/12/2023 at 22:02:26 Smack-head? Sorry Pep, mean't slap-head. Phil Greenough 93 Posted 06/12/2023 at 22:13:29 Paul, being disrespectful of follicly challenged people, is just as bad as deriding a person who has an addictive personality. Please be non-judgemental towards the cheating bastard. Bill Gall 94 Posted 06/12/2023 at 22:16:30 Man City looked pretty awful today, didn't look like they were interested, hope a threat from the FA is worrying them. Brian Williams 95 Posted 06/12/2023 at 22:20:10 Premier League – not FA, I think. David Vaughan 96 Posted 06/12/2023 at 22:23:03 Way off topic, and yet...why have Forest Green Rovers been ordered to replay their FA Cup tie after fielding an ineligible player, while Barnsley were booted out of this year's competition for the same offence? "FA too, Corrupt as FAC"?!? Ian Styles 97 Posted 06/12/2023 at 22:25:25 Typical City to fall away this season when the RS have got their winning mentality back. Had it been last season, Arsenal would have won and RS would have been just also-rans. Everything falls right for them. Paul Ferry 98 Posted 06/12/2023 at 22:27:05 Lesson understood, Phil. Danny O’Neill 99 Posted 06/12/2023 at 22:32:27 Great performance by Villa. Lucky deflection for the goal, but deserved. Man City looked off sortsI too heard the Premier League chants from the Sheffield United supporters. It's catching on! Geoff Lambert 100 Posted 06/12/2023 at 22:59:44 Mike #71 do you have a fire stick? IPTV is also a great option. Chris Hockenhull 101 Posted 06/12/2023 at 23:16:09 Bizarre once again being subjected to the knowledgeable Ashley Williams offering his expertise – yet again – regards the skills of defending. Well, we remember that only too well….. er. Frank Wolfe 102 Posted 07/12/2023 at 02:42:11 I think the "Man City were a bit out of sorts" line being thrown around is a bit disrespectful to Villa. I thought they were excellent and fully deserved the win. They created more chances, hit the post and looked the more dangerous side all night. Really impressed. Danny O’Neill 103 Posted 07/12/2023 at 05:48:47 Frank, I live with a Villa supporter and commented on how well they played and totally deserved it. Bar an inch, it could have been two as the Man City keeper was beaten.I also commented that City didn't look themselves. They weren't. That's no disrespect to Villa at all.
