Dale Self 2 Posted 01/06/2024 at 19:39:01 Yesss, do it, Carlo! More repeat cups for Uefa and the Premier League. Michael Kenrick 4 Posted 01/06/2024 at 19:44:09 Jesus, YNWA. I'm gonna vomit. Paul Ferry 5 Posted 01/06/2024 at 19:46:52 Fuck off Dortmund with your "walk on" shite. Fucking deviants and gobshites. "Walk on" and Bingo gums Klopp: two reasons to want Carlo/Madrid to win this. And now the twats on 5Live are discussing that song. Vamos carlo y madrid, vencen a estos pedazos de mierda alemanes.Vamos Carlo.Vamos Madrid.Joder Dortmund. Rob Halligan 6 Posted 01/06/2024 at 19:49:59 Well I wasn't arsed who won tonight, but now its deffo got to be Madrid after the Dortmund fans were singing that dirge song, and also seeing that fucking horrible grin on Bingo wants to make you throw up!! Come on Carlo. Paul Ferry 7 Posted 01/06/2024 at 19:56:49 Fuck the wall. Plastic kopites. Yep, Rob, Carlo it is and I hope they humiliate the wannabe kopites. FC Schalke O4. Now there's a lesson to learn from given where we are right now. Wallowing in the second tier. Completely fucked and they will fall further. Rob Halligan 8 Posted 01/06/2024 at 19:57:09 Oh yeah, and there is an ex-RS playing for Dortmund. Brian Williams 9 Posted 01/06/2024 at 19:58:41 What Rob #6 said. Exactly. Danny O’Neill 10 Posted 01/06/2024 at 19:59:45 Being a Schalke follower, I can't stomach Dortmund. That song and Klopp as well as being the Koningsblauen (Royal Blues) derby rivals.Gluck Auf Dale Self 11 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:00:05 Adeyemi could have a breakthrough match. I hope not. And what the fuck was that? Fuck off Dortmund. Disrespectful Paul Tran 12 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:00:40 Never occurred to me to want anything other than a Real Madrid win. Paul Ferry 13 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:01:16 Emre Can. Another reason to hate the plastic kopites. Michael Kenrick 14 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:01:36 12 Subs. Is that just for the final? Or all Champions League? Is that what we are getting next? Rob Halligan 15 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:02:14 Pitch invader. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Michael Kenrick 16 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:03:16 Ridiculous that they allow fans on the field.Pathetic security. Rob Halligan 17 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:04:27 Seeing as it's in England, Michael, Everton will get the blame for that. Paul Ferry 18 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:05:43 Did they allow him to invade the pitch, MK? Michael Kenrick 19 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:07:42 Well, let's put it this way, Paul. They didn't stop him — or another two! Brian Williams 20 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:10:35 Fucking pitch invaders, thats Everton docked at least 6 points! Paul Ferry 21 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:12:28 It does look pretty easy to saunter onto the pitch, Michael. Scrappy this, just as the plastic kopites hoped for. Is there actually a genuine ace in their pack, other than in the back? Michael Kenrick 22 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:17:03 Yea, can't see that many stewards. May be too easy, Paul. Some good possession for Carlo's lot but poor shooting. Brian Williams 23 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:22:25 Tell you what, Bellingham's a unit isn't he?I didn't realise he was so big and solid. Rob Halligan 24 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:23:45 Paul, if there's such a thing as a human cattle grid, then Wembley has them. There are fences in front of the fans all the way around the pitch, but they are horizontal and point inwards, about two or three feet towards the fans, with about 6 - 8 inches between each rod, making it virtually impossible for anyone to climb over them. If you can notice, fans lay flags across them. Paul Ferry 25 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:27:55 Cheers Rob. How are the Kopite aus Kunststoff not ahead here? What the feck are Madrid doing there, trying to play it ot from the back? Lol, gute nacht Can.He reminds me a bit about you Brian mate. Can we have Adeyemi please. He might be slower than McNeil, but we need him. Rob Halligan 26 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:29:51 FFS, don't let Dortmund score, or the first grid we will see will be fucking Bingo's. Brian Williams 27 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:37:14 Paul. 😂 Brian Williams 28 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:38:27 Never a yellow against VJ. Tony Abrahams 29 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:39:45 Everything that is wrong with football encapsulated in that yellow card for trying to win the ball off the keeper. That's a penalty at the other end of the pitch nowadays because cheating is now such a massive part of the modern game, unfortunately. Brian Williams 30 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:41:19 Agree, Tony.Looking at "yellow wall" can you just imagine what the "Blue Wall" of the south stand of the new stadium will be like? Paul Ferry 31 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:49:39 Hey Jude has done absolutely nothing. Carlo should bring Harrison on. Tony Abrahams 32 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:56:33 The ground is going to be absolutely brilliant, Brian. But the only wall I'm currently interested in is the wall of silence behind all the shite that is getting written by a load of shite journalists and speculators, mate. Paul Ferry 33 Posted 01/06/2024 at 20:57:45 Sheedy, I can't stand Micah Richards. Wrong suit choice for a big twat. Trying to be Red Shite Spice Boys in cream. Rob Halligan 34 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:21:07 Brian, what's the chances of the new stadium holding a European final in the next few years? Obviously wouldn't be a Champions League Final but one of the other two competitions could be comfortably held here. We already have Euro 2028 games to be held in the new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock. Rob Halligan 35 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:28:02 I can see Bellingham getting hooked here, he's done naff all. Brian Williams 36 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:30:27 Rob, that'd be great mate. Could certainly hold the Europa League Final there.Imagine if it was and we happened to be in it! Rob Halligan 37 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:35:16 Yes… Real Madrid 1-0. Paul Ferry 38 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:35:42 Get in Dale Self 39 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:36:27 Gol. Carvajal, the Maupay of right-backs! Paul Ferry 40 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:37:18 Free header. Wow. Plastic kopites, woeful defending there. Come on, King Carlo of Crosby. Paul Ferry 41 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:44:29 Get in!!!!!!!!!!!! Dale Self 42 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:45:04 Yes. The dagger in Dortmund, fuck off! Rob Halligan 43 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:45:32 Jeez, an Ashley Young pass helps give Madrid the cup. Paul Ferry 44 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:45:38 Woeful kopite defending again. Michael Kenrick 45 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:46:25 If only Dom could mis-hit his shots like that! Jim Bennings 46 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:47:59 Who'd have thought that when Carlo was Everton manager just over three years ago that he was going to win two Champions League titles by 2024?If someone had told me that in April 2021, I'd have honestly believed that Everton Football Club were going to see a cataclysmic positive transformation, lol! John Raftery 47 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:50:56 Former Crosby resident on the verge of winning the Champions League trophy for a 5th time. John Keating 48 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:54:36 This Ancelotti guy — was he the same guy that was with us a few years ago?I seem to remember a certain poster saying this Ancelotti guy was past his sell-by date and only with us for a last payday to beef up his pension.Well, it seems this Ancelotti guy hasn't done too bad since leaving us… Paul Ferry 49 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:58:52 Carlo 5 CL cups, 2 more than anyone else, but he was shite at Everton. Rob Halligan 50 Posted 01/06/2024 at 21:59:06 Haha……the RS won't like that comment by Darren Fletcher: “Real Madrid, Europe's greatest club side everâ€. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Paul Ferry 51 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:00:32 Crosby 2 Plastic Kopite slugs 0 Danny O’Neill 52 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:02:17 Carlo! The yellow fake klopites and kopites schooled.Tony Kroos. What a player..Watch the documentary on him. Kevin Molloy 53 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:05:00 Carlo must be kicking himself. He could have had it all and been an Everton legend, but he snuck off for some cheap trinkets with Madrid. Paul Ferry 54 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:09:31 Bellingham in interview acting as if he played well and contributed to the win apart from a poxy pass. Paul Ferry 55 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:13:12 Add Mbappe to that team. Christine Foster 56 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:15:58 Some dinosaur... Peter Mills 57 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:18:58 Made up for Carlo. Paul Ferry 58 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:24:31 Could Carlo be coming home to Crosby and Marine for his final job? Colin Glassar 59 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:24:34 Can we get the son of the dinosaur to come and join us. Young Dino and Fred Flinstone could become quite a pair.Well done, Don Carlo. It was an honour to have you as our manager. Mike Gaynes 60 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:28:13 PF, Marine won their league, RM lost theirs. Carlo ain't good enough for the Crosby fan base. Rob Halligan 61 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:30:57 None of us want Jarrad Branthwaite to leave, well not just yet anyway. But, if he's going to go anywhere, then I think Real Madrid will be the perfect destination for him. Please Jarrad, just do not choose Man Utd as they will destroy you. Colin Glassar 62 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:32:25 Carlo GOAT manager? Seven times Champions League winner (5 as a manager) and — with Mbappe and Endrick next season — he'll probably win the quadruple!!! Paul Ferry 63 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:35:36 Promotion play-off final MG. Crowds flocking to Moor Lane to celebrate! Oldish men in tears! Greggs running out of pies. Robert Tressell 64 Posted 01/06/2024 at 22:38:27 Not a great spectacle. That Real Madrid team is a far cry from the team of Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Modric, Benzema, Bale and Ronaldo. Very little artistry on show. Danny O’Neill 65 Posted 01/06/2024 at 23:23:52 Finals rarely are, Robert. They are usually tense and cautious occasions. Real Madrid rode the early storm and got the job done.It won't go down as a memorable match, but Real Madrid have their 15th European Champions title. And Carlo his 5th.That is some feat – however you look at it. Brian Harrison 66 Posted 02/06/2024 at 12:52:55 Congratulations, Carlo, without doubt the best manager ever. 5 European Cups as manager and 2 as a player. I still shake my head every time I see him to think he walked away because of the lies that Usmanov and Moshiri fed him. Unlike all the other managers we have had, he actually lived in part of Liverpool and spoke glowingly about Crosby beach and bike rides to Southport. Only Everton could allow such quality to walk away, that was a once-in-a-lifetime occassion and we blew it. I will admit the football wasn't always great but having a serial winner was evident in everything he did. Just a pity Covid stopped us seeing James Rodriguez at Goodison — he would have been loved by the purists at Goodison. Dave Abrahams 67 Posted 03/06/2024 at 14:59:59 Robert (64),And even further away from the Real Madrid who started buying and winning the European Cup in the fifties with Santemaria, Ghento, Di Stefano Puscas etc. Exquisite to watch, with a totally attacking team winning one final, in Glasgow, 8-4 against a German team. Alan McGuffog 68 Posted 03/06/2024 at 15:25:37 Dave...it was Eintracht Frankfurt, 1960 I think. If we ever looked like we were going to riot and takes hostages in Primary school our esteemed head, "Pop "Mackay, would arrange a screening. 7 - 3. Jay Harris 69 Posted 03/06/2024 at 15:51:20 Brain, my sentiments exactly.Could have been the turning point in our recent history, Small minded people who know how to launder money but not how to run a commercially successful operation. Steve Brown 70 Posted 03/06/2024 at 16:34:56 Magnificent achievement by Don Carlo.I think we can now say he is the greatest manager of the modern era. And to think he was called an dinosaur when he joined us. Just in it for a final pay day! Brent Stephens 71 Posted 16/06/2024 at 20:13:57 Cracking goal.
