Everton U18s 2 - 3 Wolves U18s

Everton U18s were defeated at Finch Farm by Wolves in their second match of the new season.

Leighton Baines is still looking for his first win of the new season after another disappointing loss for his young side.

With more new names appearing on the teamsheet (Kean Wren, Malik Olayiwola on the bench), the Blues stormed into the lead in just the 3rd minute thanks to an own-goal and it was a two-goal advantage after just 21 minutes when Jcob Beaumont-Clark scored.

But Everton were pegged back before the break, then gave up two more goals after the hour mark.

EvertonU18s: G Pickford, Maher, O Samuels-Smith, Thomas, Van Schoor, J Patterson [Y:23'], Bates, Armstrong, Finney, Stewart [Y:49'] (66'Allen), Beaumont-Clark (85' Davis).
