This is the second Group B game that sees the Blues gain their first 3 points, with Everton playing their third and final group game against Peterborough at the end of November. George Morgan scored the first goal from the penalty spot after 54 minutes, while Joel Catesby added another a few minutes before the end, and a consolation goal from the home side. Young U16 player Kean Wren made his first appearance at this level as a late sub.
